Double(0)Nothing is a game of skill where the user is required to answer an allotted number of questions correctly in the quickest possible time.

  10. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize;
  11. All prizes awarded will be instant prizes of free airtime. Contract and prepaid subscribers may enter the promotion but winnings can only be utilised directly by prepaid subscribers. This winning airtime pin vouchers will also be sent to contract subscribers who can then use the winnings to be redeemed by any prepaid phone subscriber of their choice i.e. family and friends with prepaid accounts;
  12. Winnings are usually recharged within 15 minutes of received the winning entry from the prepaid winner. The recharge time of winnings is however not guaranteed and may take longer to deliver to the specific winner of the airtime winnings;
  13. An entrant must have sufficient funds available on their prepaid accounts to participate in the promotion - if the entrant enters the competition with no funds available on their prepaid accounts no winnings will be paid out to the entrant - if they should win a prize;
  14. Should the MSISDN not be billed the agreed amount due to circumstances beyond our control no winnings will be paid out to the entrant – if they should win a prize;
  15. By dialling *120*xxxxx# and selecting the play option, you acknowledge that you have agreed to the Double(0)Nothing rules and terms and conditions of access. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Every time you play, by answering a question, you will be billed R3.00. You will also be charged networks charges of 20c / 20seconds or part thereof up to 3 minutes;
  16. Eligible participants can enter this contest by dialling *120*xxxxx#. Participants must follow instructions on how to answer questions and reply to questions with the exact answers as instructed in the relevant question. If participant answers in a manner different from what is instructed it will not count as a correct answer. The promoters are not liable for any late, lost or incomprehensible entries into the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING.
  17. You will have a maximum duration of 30 seconds to answer each question. If you take longer than 30 seconds the USSD session will time out. If you do not answer within 30 seconds the answer will be considered a wrong answer. The Promoter does not take responsibility for interrupted connections or USSD sessions.
  18. Dates on which DOUBLE(0)NOTHING are run with relevant closing dates will be displayed in all advertising material.
  19. The DOUBLE(0)NOTHING consists of one, or a number of questions, each with a correct answer. In order to be awarded a prize, the customer must first a) correctly answer the general knowledge skill testing questions and; b) answer questions within the fastest time; c) have enough airtime to allow successful billing; d) agree to the terms and conditions as stated here; e) have the bill payer’s permission to enter the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING; f) adhere to all rules and regulations, and release the promoter, and any of its agents, from any liability related to the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING. If the qualified customer cannot be contacted via text message, email or telephone or refuses to sign the abovementioned release form, he/she will surrender the prize and the next person that completes the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING will be awarded the prize.
  20. There is no chance involved in the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING. THIS IS A GAME OF SKILL.
  21. In addition to the questions sent as part of the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING, the promoters may need to send another message with details of the next the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING.

  23. The determination of the winner by the promoters will be final. Conditions of winning depend on the total time taken to correctly answer the question/s within the competition time.
  24. By participating in this contest, the winner authorizes the promoters to use his/her name, place of residence, photographs, image, voice and/or statements regarding his/her prize for advertising purposes (such as Internet and print ads) without any compensation.
  25. By entering this contest, entrants consent that the promoters may collect, store, share or use personal information about entrants for the purposes of conducting the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING and awarding prizes. Data may be passed to South African mobile operators upon their request.
  26. By entering this contest or trying to do so, all persons release the promoters, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their respective employees, agents and representatives from any damages which could arise directly or indirectly from their participation or attempt to participate in the contest. You also agree to indemnify the promoters from any demand, claim, cost, tax, liability or damage suffered or incurred by the promoters or its agents due to entry into the DOUBLE(0)NOTHING. Upon receipt of a prize, winners release the promoters, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their respective employees, agents and representatives from any liability in connection with this contest, the winner’s participation therein and / or the awarding and use of the prize or any portion thereof.

The promoters, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their respective employees, agents and representatives are not liable for faulty computer or cell phone components, software or links, the loss or non-existence of communications capability, or faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer, cell phone or network transmissions that render an individual ineligible for this contest. The promoters, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their respective employees, agents and representatives waive all liability from any damage or loss that could arise, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from downloading any software and by transmitting or receiving any data relating to the participation in this contest. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this contest, as solely determined by the promoters, will be disqualified. If disqualified for any of the above abuses, the promoters reserve the right to terminate a participant’s eligibility to participate.

The promoters reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, if an event or any human intervention corrupts or affects the administration, security, impartiality or the normal running of the Contest as provided for in these rules. In all cases, the promoters, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their suppliers of material or services related to this contest as well as their respective employees, agents and representatives cannot be held to award more prizes or to award the prize otherwise than in compliance with these rules.
  29. Together with the other terms and conditions provided on this web site, these rules and regulations constitute the entire agreement between you and the promoters. This contest is also subject to all applicable common law.
  30. In the event of a dispute, text message entries will be considered to have been sent in by the account holder of the cellular telephone number used at the time of entry. A qualified customer may be required to prove their claim of account holder of the telephone number associated with the selected entry. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid entry in this contest will be the promoters and/or its agents telecommunications equipment and proprietary technology
  31. The DOUBLE(0)NOTHING jackpot is limited to R 10 000.00. Smaller consolation prizes are paid hourly if the jackpot is not reached. The jackpot is paid on DOUBLE(0)NOTHING earning R100 000.00 within that respective hour.
